We want to start by saying THANK YOU to everyone who has shown their support and understanding during the pandemic and recent changes. We truly appreciate you ALL!

The recent decision to close all tent camping was not an easy one, but one we have been considering for several years. We acknowledge all those who have expressed their strong disagreement with this decision and certainly understand. Watermelon Park has a long history and there are several families who have made cherished memories here. Things are pretty hectic for us as they are for several other businesses in our community with COVID-19 regulations and we apologize for any misunderstanding in previous announcements on Facebook.

We hope that everyone will always keep Watermelon Park a favorite place to visit for RV camping, group events, kayaking, or to just float down the Shenandoah River!
