🚧 Traffic Alert – Lockes Mill Road Closure 🚧

Please be aware that Lockes Mill Road (Route 621) is currently closed to through traffic between Springsbury Road (Route 613) and Parshall Road (Route 608) due to a slope failure. According to Clarke County, the closure is expected to last at least a few days.
Good news: Watermelon Park is still accessible!
The road is closed at the location marked by the orange cone on the map. Watermelon Park is located at the red square.
If you are coming from Briggs Road:
  • Turn onto Springsbury Road and continue to Route 7.
  • Head east on Route 7, passing Parshall Road.
  • Continue to Nall’s Farm Market and turn right onto Chilly Hollow Road.
  • Follow Chilly Hollow Road, which becomes Lockes Mill Road, and it will bring you directly to Watermelon Park.
If you are visiting the public boat landing, please note that it is only accessible by approaching from the east (Route 608/Parshall Road side).

Watermelon Park is also a great venue for weddings, company picnics, family reunions, Church groups, scout troops.

Daily Site Rates

Check-In: 1:00 PM
Check-Out: 12:00 PM

We offer a variety of site options to accommodate different RV sizes and preferences:

  • A Row (0–32 ft): $60 per night
  • B Row (26–36 ft): $60 per night
  • C Row (37–100 ft): $80 per night
  • D Row (37–100 ft): $100 per night

Site Amenities

All sites include water, 30 & 50 amp electric service, a picnic table, and a fire ring.

Please note that none of our sites have sewer hookups due to our proximity to the river. However, we offer a convenient dump station available at no additional charge. We also provide a honey truck service that can pump out your camper for a $30 fee (available Monday–Saturday).

A bathhouse is available for all guests at no additional charge.

Monthly Site Rates

Monthly sites are available for $1,200, with premium sites offered at $1,300.

All monthly stays include 30 & 50 amp electric service, water, access to the bathhouse, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Guests also receive three pump-out services per week from our honey truck at no additional charge.
